Air quality around Los Angeles and LAX Airport reached record-breaking poor conditions in 2018.

ACTION PLAN

Over 400 AtmosAir units have been installed in over 200 air handling units throughout LAX.

RESULTS

The systems delivered a reduction in odors, VOCs, airborne bacteria, viruses, mold, and particulate contamination. Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) reported a 90% reduction in odor-causing gases and VOCs. LAX was able to reduce the size of carbon filters, lowering costs and waste generated. LAWA projects an annual energy saving of $2,000 per air handling unit.
